?Single sided printing includes printing on the outside of the pockets. It’s true - you don’t have to choose double sided! Bet you’re glad you clicked on this little tip :)
?While lots of projects print in full color (CMYK), we understand the beauty of a well designed duotone and the importance of accurate spot colors for brand consistency. If you are printing in spot colors, including the PMS numbers in the notes section would earn you lots of brownie points with our crew.

?Our real life team of experts will look over your file to make sure everything will print beautifully. We can either send you a PDF proof for one last look-see or overnight a hardcopy. In most cases, these hardcopy proofs will be color accurate and trimmed/finished to size.

What is the standard pocket folder size?

The most common pocket folder has a folded finish size of 9×12, with 4″ pockets.

Are there additional pocket folder sizes available?

Of course! You can do a legal size, which is 9×15, or you can place a custom order for a different size of your choosing. We’ve done them as small as 4″x5″! E-mail Team Picasso at picasso@mingopress.com for a custom quote.

What type of paper works best for pocket folders?

We recommend a minimum stock thickness of 12pt, which is equivalent to a 100# uncoated cover or a 120# gloss cover. This will ensure the folder is sturdy enough to hold all of your valuable documents.

I’m looking for a unique folder with custom shape pockets. Is that a thing?

You bet it is. We’re happy to review your concept and provide a free custom quote. Simply e-mail picasso@mingopress.com to get started.

Do you show proofs?

Yes. Any time you order printing from us, we ask that you review a proof before we produce your job. This gives you peace of mind knowing that your job will be produced correctly. Depending on the type of job, we can show you a proof in a variety of different ways: by e-mail, fax, or hardcopy.

Why does the color on my proof not match my Pantone color?

Pantone ink colors are achieved by mixing designated inks together (similar to paint). Your proof is printed with a different process using a digital color machine. These proofs are designed to be checked for spelling, information correctness, size and placement; not exact color matching. Color matching can only be done with a Pantone swatch book.

Do you charge extra for rush jobs?

No. We have no extra charges for rush jobs. In order to meet your time deadlines, some jobs may have to be produced using a different process, which could alter the price. We will always inform you of these differences prior to starting your project.

What types of electronic files can you take?

We support both Mac and PC files, and while we take just about any type of file you can think of, here is a sampling of the most common file types:

Can I e-mail my job to you?

Yes. We gladly accept e-mailed files. Check your email limitations on file size to make sure it doesn’t exceed your limit. Be sure to include contact information in your e-mail so we can reach you if we have any questions. We will respond to your email within 20 minutes during the hours of 8am – 6pm Central Time or the next business day. If for some reason you don’t receive a reply within about 20 minutes, either try resending, send another email, or call us.
